I read music at Worcester College, Oxford and learned most of my technique under Robert Sherlaw-Johnson.
I also studied at the University of East Anglia with Denis Smalley. Having flirted with modern, experimental styles I have come to prefer a more relaxed, approachable mode of expression, mixing jazz and other popular styles with classical genres.
Some of my choral music is published by Banks www.banksmusicpublications.co.uk
